Sport on with Seelan Paul

My School

What’s up peeps!!

Firstly I wanna congratulate Safee for scoring on his debut in Indonesia. Well done bro! Keep blasting the back of the net and show them all how great you are.

Secondly I need to boast on our victory over Man United. That was one hard fought victory with a lot of passion and temperament. However as King Kenny said we need to do better if we were to compete at the highest level next season against Man U, Arsenal and Chelsea or any other team. That’s just what we should be doing daily in our lives. Don’t be complacent; find ways on how to do better all the time. I am trying too, not easy but we must.

Lastly I just wanna share a bit about my school. Lately thanks to Facebook I have been getting feedbacks on my school, Sekolah Rendah and Menengah Methodist Nibong Tebal. They are having a carnival to collect money for the school. It’s this weekend but sadly I can’t go due to work and commitments here. I can’t forget my school and teachers. They played a big part in my life and sports specifically. I still remember playing barefoot on our field while Cikgu Othman screamed at us, urging us to play the formation better. Cikgu Chan gave me an earful when I skipped most of my classes playing badminton in the hall. Cikgu Teoh Boon Chai (I owe a lot to him) bought me spike shoes when I was 16 so I can run better at the stadium for inter-district meet. These sporting memories and experience made me who I am today. Sports instil good values. I am not saying that I am good but I learnt a lot from sport, such as discipline, teamwork, friendship, perseverance, goal-setting, ambition, hard work and many more subtle values. All values learned without knowing that it will be fundamental much later in our adult life.

Sekolah Methodist Nibong Tebal (Rendah and Menengah), all the teachers and caretakers, you deserve a standing ovation not from me but for all whose life has changed because of you. Hope one day I can come back and kick a ball with the students there and rekindle my good old days.

  3. What a great web log. I spend hours on the net reading blogs, about tons of various subjects. I have to first of all give praise to whoever created your theme and second of all to you for writing what i can only describe as an fabulous article. I honestly believe there is a skill to writing articles that only very few posses and honestly you got it. The combining of demonstrative and upper-class content is by all odds super rare with the astronomic amount of blogs on the cyberspace.
